We are pleased to announce to our current and prospective clients that Aaron Mailloux has officially earned the prestigious Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation on October 16, 2018.

The CFA® charter, the most respected and recognized investment credential in the world, represents a tradition of upholding the highest standards of education and integrity in the investment profession. The charter is recognized globally by employers, investment professionals, and investors as the definitive standard by which to measure the competence, integrity, and dedication of investment professionals. The CFA® Institute is the largest global association of investment professionals. There are currently more than 170,000 CFA Charterholders working in 135 countries. The CFA® program has been referred to as a “grueling professional exam” (Financial Times, May 2006) and “the gold standard” (The Economist, February 2005).

In order to earn the CFA® charter, a candidate must pass three, six-hour exams each offered once per year. It is estimated by participating institutions that less than 20% of candidates successfully earn the CFA charter. Aaron has dedicated years to passing all three levels of the CFA® exams and gaining relevant industry experience. Earning the CFA® charter as an Associate allows Aaron to provide more in-depth knowledge and understanding to his client’s businesses and needs, and demonstrates Aaron’s commitment to being an ethically accountable investment expert with mastery of financial analysis and analytical skills.

The CFA® Society of Detroit welcomed new Charterholders at a celebratory event held on November 9, 2018 in Detroit, Michigan. Please join us in congratulating him on this achievement.
