As a leader in the world of finance, the University of Waterloo hosted the 3rd Annual Women in Accounting and Finance symposium on Thursday, October 29th at the PwC Tower in Toronto. The successful event featured an esteemed women panel group including Colleen Johnston (BBA ’82), Group Head Finance, Sourcing and Corporate Communications, and Chief Financial Officer, TD Bank Group, Federica Nazzani (MAcc ’95, BA ’95), Founder and President, Capital Assist (Valuation) Inc., Tracey Riley (BA ’88), Managing Partner, Assurance, PwC. The Master of Ceremonies was Master of Ceremonies, Elaine Lee (BA ’03), Manager, Financial Reporting, Planning and Analysis at The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario. The annual evening event was filled with discussion and learning as the distinguished executives shared their career and leadership experiences as well as provided valuable advice and insight to fellow women colleagues and alumni.
